Centuries ago, a pale blue stone fell from the sky and rewrote the people it touched. The crystals it left behind hum with latent power, and those born near their veins wake up able to bend the world in ways their grandparents would have called miracles. For a time, the noble houses hoarded that gift. Then the state tried to leash it — with registries, segregated districts, and crystal-tech surveillance. Then the vigilantes of The Unbound tore the state apart.
